The Lackawanna County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) is a non-profit Board engaged in the promotion of economic development, planning, and over-sight of local training efforts under the auspices of the Federal Workforce Investment Act. Heralding a system of collaboration and coordination of service provision, the WIB promotes the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s One-Stop concept of operation.
